Other features of this Swindon Playground include

• Blue rubber chips instead of bark (prevents foxes and cats from you know what)
• The rubber chips are 100% recycled
• Safety flooring around the play area to prevent accidents when falling
• Octagonal outside learning centre
• A sandpit with timber removable covers
• The sandpit has a pyramid style roof to protect the children in all weathers
• All wood sourced from sustainable FSC sources
• All year lush artificial grass which requires no maintenance

The original playground consisted of bare concrete slabs. The play area in the photos below is an entirely free standing structure - it was unnecessary to dig down into the concrete to install it as it sits on top of the original playground surface.

The Play structure has added Shock Pads as a safety surface , underneath the Artificial Grass sirrounding the play area.
